After a year of bitter politics and campaigns, we find ourselves back in the cycle. But this race is about our local communities. After prayerful thought and consideration I decided to throw my hat into the ring for public office and ask people I know and even those I don't know to make a choice. I’m running for The Woodlands Township Board of Directors Position 3, and will bring common sense conservative values to the Township leadership.
My opponents combined have been on either The Woodlands Association, The Woodlands Community Association or the Township Board of Directors for a decades. It's now time we add a strong new voice for the new Township and the future of The Woodlands. Clearly I believe that experience is important, but the right experience is worth a lot more than more of the same.
I am the only candidate that has experience working with all levels of government - from local communities to states to the federal government - trying to get balanced budgets passed, to lower taxes, and to keep the size of government and their intrusion out of our homes and our businesses.
I know the candidate is not supposed to ask for your money, but this isn't just about asking for money. I'm asking for your support and help to get this important message out and this type of leadership started. I’m here running my small business and trying to get involved.
